Welcome to Park and Play Pals, the gathering for anyone who’s ever thought, 'Hey, wouldn’t it be great to sit outside and awkwardly people-watch while trying to deconstruct Charlotte’s social dynamics?' With over 200 parks in the area, we’re here to stroll, gossip, and possibly engage in a debate over the merits of park benches versus picnic blankets. We’ll traverse from Freedom Park all the way to Romare Bearden Park, fueled by a shared love for fresh air and questionable snacks we won’t admit to eating. Each gathering includes an unofficial 'who can trip over their own feet the most' contest, combined with our knack for unstoppable storytelling. Whether you’re a toddler on a playground swing, a retiree feeding the ducks, or someone who used to be cool—before adulting struck—you're welcome to join us in our casual quest to pretend we’re fit while definitely sitting down for most of the day!
