Welcome to the Savannah River Rewilders, where we say, 'Paddle your own canoe, but bring your friends!' Founded by a motley crew of Augusta natives and wayward kayakers, we gather to explore the wild wonders of the Savannah River. Besides our regular paddling trips, we engage in guerrilla gardening, hatch misguided schemes to introduce beavers (don’t ask), and throw the most legendary riverside bonfires. Join us if you dare to get a little wet—and a lot wild.
