Welcome to the Boca Raton Historical Huddle, where we gather to reminisce about days gone by, and by 'days gone by,' we mean the not-so-distant past when Boca was but a sleepy little town with more palm trees than people. Join us as we dive into the fascinating and somewhat baffling history of our beloved Boca Raton, from its roots as a pineapple plantation to the glamorous, ostentatious haven it is today. Our meetings often take place within one of Boca’s many historic landmarks, where we sip artisanal coffee, nibble on avocado toast, and speculate how much our neighborhoods have changed since the days when the only thing worth mentioning was how many golf clubs could fit in a single closet.
