We might not be superheroes, but we certainly put on a good show as we organize events to raise funds for the elderly, clean parks during a 'spring clean' no one really wants to do, or just help neighbors in need because, honestly, what else are we going to do with our lists of chores? We celebrate local heroes, hoard supplies for our next impromptu charity karaoke (because who doesn’t love a karaoke night for a cause?), and swap ideas on how to be more neighborly—while keeping our cheeks puffed out with self-satisfaction.
