The Hellenic Heritage Society of Greece, NY, is your one-stop-shop for all things Greek—minus the sandals and togas, although we won’t judge if you show up in a laurel wreath. Our group dives deep into the annals of Hellenic culture, history, and traditions, engaging in spirited discussions about the merits of Socratic dialogue and the darker sides of ancient Greek myths (who knew Zeus had so many side hustles?). We also host occasional re-enactments of historical events, which often devolve into friendly debates about whether the Syracusan military tactics were actually more innovative than a good Greek salad dressing. Join us in our quest to keep the spirit of Greece alive in the culturally diverse community of Greece, New York, where the closest thing to Mount Olympus might just be the local coffee shop serving Greek coffee that would wake up even a sleeping Spartan!
