Leeds Rhubarb Society

Welcome to the Leeds Rhubarb Society, where we celebrate the noble, yet somewhat misunderstood, stalk of the rhubarb! In the heart of West Yorkshire, this vibrant group hosts everything from rhubarb pie-eating contests to the Great Rhubarb Off cooking show, all with a theatrical flair. Members are encouraged to share their best rhubarb recipes, gardening tips, and perhaps participate in a lively debate on whether rhubarb is, in fact, a fruit or vegetable (spoiler alert: it doesn't matter, we still love it!). Throw your hands up in amazement at our rhubarb-themed art exhibits, or join us for a rhubarb cocktail night that aims to misinterpret the very meaning of 'mixology.' Don't worry, if your mixes are a bit off, we'll still 'conserve' the spirit of the occasion with good cheer and laughter. Warning: Stalks may be longer than they appear!
