Gather under the trees, clutching your hot dish as we share stories ranging from the city's founding by Father of Law and Order, John A. Brown, to the days of ruffian riverboat traders. We promise an atmosphere thick with laughter, conflicting opinions about the merits of tater tot hotdish, and perhaps even a pie-eating contest that’s mostly for show – because eating pie is serious business. So, bring your best dad jokes and questionable trivia about the State Fair. We may even throw in an impromptu discussion on the weather, which is practically an Olympic sport in Minnesota.
