Welcome to the Bendigo Fish & Chips Fanatics, a group for those who believe that the most important food pyramid consists solely of battered fish and crispy chips! We gather to defend our turf against those who claim gourmet dining reigns supreme, while we proudly clutch our vinegar-soaked newspapers. Our sessions are filled with friendly debates about the best local fish and chips shop (the only politics we endorse), tasting challenges that resemble a culinary Olympics, and, of course, vigorous discussions about the appropriate number of potato cakes one ought to consume in a single sitting. We even have an annual “Chip Off” competition to determine who can consume the most calories while maintaining a dignified expression! Join us and revel in the crispy camaraderie where laughter is as abundant as tartare sauce!
