Introducing the Virginia History Buffs (With Snacks), where the past is deliciously entertaining and munchies are mandatory! Our mission takes us on a romantic adventure through Richmond’s pivotal moments, armed with homemade biscuits and the occasional brave veggie platter. In a peculiar dance, we’ll discuss the significance of the Richmond Enquirer whilst contemplating gourmet cheese pairings, noting the dissonance between the weight of history and our undeniable cravings. Ironically, as we explore the legacy of the Commonwealth, we find that’s often our cravings for food that lead us to the most ‘historic’ moments that are, unfortunately, less Instagrammable. We find camaraderie - and crumbs - in the history that food leaves behind!
