Opened in 2022, Moorways Sports Village and Water Park combines a brand-new water park and leisure centre with the existing Moorways Stadium to create a fantastic new sports and leisure facility for the whole community. This new centre in Derby is sure to have a range of activities to suit everyone’s needs, thanks to a water park, an enormous 50m swimming pool, a teaching pool, two soft playrooms, a state-of-the-art gym, group fitness studios, and a sauna and steam room. The stadium complex comprises of an athletics track, as well as both grass and artificial football pitches. Designed with families in mind, Moorways Water Park guarantees to make a splash with swimmers of all ages. The water park boasts two 100m flumes, as well as a beach-style leisure pool which features a wave generating Wow Ball. Other attractions include a racer multi-slide where you can race your friends and family, a wave rider, and water playground with mini-slides for the little ones.
