Dame Ngaio lived at Ngaio Marsh House from age 10 until she died in 1982. The house and garden remain much as Dame Ngaio left it. Imagine the fabulous dinner parties, discover her books and art, and hear about Dame Ngaio's extraordinary life as a writer, artist and theatre director. Visitors follow in the footsteps of actors, writers and artists like Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh, Sir Michael Redgrave, Andre Tchaikovsky, Sam Neill, Derek Jacobi, Sir Ian McKellen and many more.
