This fireworks display is held every summer along the shore of Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture. During the show, approximately 3,000 fireworks (primarily star mines) are set off. The show stands out with various unique displays, such as quick bursts in rapid succession that paint the night sky with countless floral shapes, and the Peacock on Water, which appears to show a peacock spreading its wings over the water's surface, giving spectator's an opportunity to enjoy enchanting scenes reflected on the waves below. The show also includes moments to share with friends and family, such as the display of original fireworks-made from actual art selected in a drawing contest-and message fireworks that carry their hopes and prayers into the night sky.
